Loess Hills Hideaway Campground Rules

General Rules

  1. Guests assume any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold Management harmless from and indemnify Management against the same. The park is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle.

  2. Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children, their guests, their pets and their motor vehicles/RV’s.

  3. All guests and visitors must check-in with management on arrival.

  4. All Motorhomes, RVs or Travel Trailers must be in good working order. Any damage to lots/property will be charged to guests.

  5. No Smoking of any kind inside any Loess Hills Hideaway buildings or cabins, this includes but is not limited to cigarettes, cigars, vapes, marijuana, any other drugs or derivative, etc. Smoking is allowed outside in the designated areas. All smoking related trash must be thrown away in the proper smoking receptacle.

  6. Tent camping is permitted only in designated tent sites.

  7. Total number of overnight guests in any space cannot exceed the maximum capacity for that site without prior approval.

  8. All visitors to a campsite must be approved prior to arriving via email and will include a visitor fee of $5/day.

  9. There are no gatherings allowed greater than 7 people without prior Ownership approval.

  10. Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight unless approved by management. All visitors are required to leave by 11:30PM.

  11. Maintenance, washing, repairs of RV’s or vehicles on property is not allowed unless approved by management.

  12. Washing RVs or vehicles on property is not allowed unless approved by management.

  13. Clotheslines are not to extend into other renter’s camp sites. Only clothing and bedding may be hung on clotheslines.

  14. Guests may not hang any items from the trees.

  15. All sites are to be kept neat and clean for the duration of your stay. A cleaning fee of up to $300 IF garbage or any items are left on site.

  16. Only 1 RV and a maximum of 2 other vehicles allowed per site unless approved by management. Vehicles may park in designated spaces for location rental not blocking the road. Guests must have a valid driver’s license may operate a motor vehicle in the campground, including golf carts, scooters, etc.

  17. All normal household trash is to be disposed of in the trash bins onsite after the stay. No large items such as furniture, metal, folding chairs, etc. can be disposed of at the campsite. DO NOT leave trash out overnight.

  18. The park does not allow the delivery of mail or packages to any guests. Guests must plan to have their mail or packages delivered to a third-party location for pickup. We do have site delivery available.

  19. Boats, boat trailers, cargo trailers or car dollies are not allowed on sites without approval from management.

  20. Drones or other remote-controlled machines may not be used at any time on the property.

  21. All guests should ensure pets and small children are always supervised. Guests are responsible for any action committed by pets, children and visitors.

  22. Speed limit on property is 5-10 mph. Motorcycles must be in idle speed when traveling through the campground.

Prohibited

  1. The use of Firearms, archery, paintball, slingshots, or gun/firearm of any kind is PROHIBITED at the Hideaway.

  2. Fireworks of any kind are PROHIBITED.

  3. Use of illegal drugs is PROHIBITED.

  4. Obnoxious or abusive behavior of ANY kind is PROHIBITED.

Campfires & Grilling

  1. Campfires are only allowed in fire rings.

  2. Do not dump charcoal on the ground or in fire rings.

  3. Do not pour cooking oil or grease down drains, on grounds, or base of trees.

  4. No burning of trash.

  5. Campfires and grills must always be supervised.

Security

  1. Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles. Keep your valuables locked up.

  2. Report any problems with your site to the Main Office immediately.

  3. We adhere to and maintain all state, county, and local laws on property.

Quiet Hours

  1. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

  2. Please be courteous to other guests around you.

  3. Loud music or objectionable noise is not allowed at any time unless all spaces at the campsite are rented for a group function upon management approval.

  4. Inconsiderate guests will be evicted from the campground.

  5. Profanity or violence towards other guests or campground staff will result in immediate eviction from the campsite.

  6. Guests violating rules that result in eviction notice will not receive any refunds for their stay.

Pet Policy

  1. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose pet is NOT considered suitable to the serenity/safety of our guests.

  2. Pets must be kept on a leash under the control of someone who can always manage all animals at all times.

  3. There is a two-pet limit in the resort unless authorized prior approval by management.

  4. No exotic or oversized pets are permitted. This includes all reptiles or large birds.

  5. Pets may not be left outside off leash. Pets are able to be on the porch area of cabins on leash if guests are at cabins.

  6. Guests are responsible to “clean up” after their pets. Pet owners may be charged up to $300 as a cleanup fee by guests that leave pet feces, holes, etc. Putting animals’ feces down the toilets will be fined $400 and eviction.

  7. Guests should carry proof of pet’s current vaccinations in case issues arise where they are needed.

  8. Service animals may accompany a disabled person without any proof of disability or certification for the service animal.

  9. Pets are not allowed in the shower or restroom facilities.
